In 2017, almost 50,000 people died from an opioid overdose. These highly addictive drugs have pervaded our society, affecting Americans from all walks of life.

This epidemic is fueled by a vicious cycle stemming from two key factors: Firstly, unlike most medical specialties that have detailed guidelines and regulations, there are no such standards when it comes to pain-management. This has led to doctors excessively prescribing opioids. Secondly, most patients blindly trust their doctors without question. As such, they’re often unaware of just how dangerous and addictive these prescribed pain-killers really are.

American Medical Association & FCB Health introduces the Verified Pain Manager, the new standard for pain-management.

This simple seal can prevent the rise in opioid addictions and work toward rebuilding trust in the medical world’s authority in pain management.
