Mynah is a longform print publication
I co-founded with Ruby Thiagarajan,
Isabelle Lim and Karen Gwee.
Mynah tells the Singaporean stories that have yet to be told. We don’t set out to subvert, but we’re not opposed to subversion by accident. Above all, we want to tell authentic stories you can’t wait to share as they’ll dust off another facet of what this country is about.
Available at most Singapore bookstores and online at the following stockists:
The magazine is named after the Mynah bird, an extremely common bird in Singapore most people wouldn't think of even noticing.
We felt that this was an apt representation of the stories we wanted to tell. This is reflected in the symbol and logotype, with the letter M tweaked to house a mynah's head and the start of a speech bubble.
